How to Get Rental Car Details and Equipment Add-Ons
After a user selects a vehicle from the search results, call the Rental Details endpoint to retrieve expanded information. This includes available equipment add-ons (child seats, GPS units, etc.), pickup location operating hours, vendor-specific terms, and detailed rate rules.

The equipments array lists optional items the customer can add to their rental. Each item includes:

Location Details
The location_details object provides full address information and operating hours for both the pickup and drop-off locations.
Key fields to display to the user:
address— Full street address for mapping and directions.operating_hours— Daily open and close times. If the selected pickup or return time falls outside operating hours, the booking may not be possible.pickup_instructions— Vendor-specific instructions for collecting the vehicle.
Rate Rules
The rate_rules object contains important terms:
